Cholecystitis, cholangiogram

Gallbladder disease can be seen on a cholangiogram. Radio-opaque dye is used to enhance the x-ray. Multiple stones are present in the gallbladder (cholecystitis). For most patients, ultrasound has replaced older x-ray dye tests for imaging the gallbladder.
