Enfermedad de Lyme

El primer signo más común de la enfermedad de Lyme es la aparición de una erupción en la piel que luce como una “diana”. La erupción comienza como un área enrojecida cerca del área de la picadura de la garrapata y, a medida que la erupción se hace más grande, se aclara en el centro y desarrolla un anillo rojizo alrededor del perímetro exterior. Otros síntomas abarcan dolores musculares o articulatorios, rigidez en el cuello, dolor de cabeza, debilidad, fiebre, inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos y otros síntomas similares a la gripe.
