Tragarse pilas

Síntomas:

Si la persona se introduce la pila por la nariz hasta el fondo y la inhala, se pueden presentar los siguientes síntomas:

  • Problemas respiratorios
  • Tos
  • Neumonía (si la pila pasa inadvertida)
  • Posible insuficiencia respiratoria total

Tragarse una pila puede no causar ningún síntoma en absoluto, pero si ésta se atranca en el esófago o el estómago, se pueden presentar los siguientes síntomas:

  • Dolor abdominal
  • Heces con sangre
  • Colapso cardiopulmonar (shock)
  • Dolor torácico
  • Inflamación gastrointestinal
  • Perforación en el esófago
  • Náuseas
  • Sabor metálico
  • Vómitos (posiblemente con sangre)
