Amelogénesis imperfecta - Overview

Definición:

Es un trastorno del desarrollo dental en el cual los dientes están cubiertos con una capa de esmalte delgada que se forma de manera anormal.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La amelogénesis imperfecta se transmite de padres a hijos como un rasgo dominante . Eso significa que uno sólo necesita recibir el gen anormal de uno de los padres para adquirir la enfermedad.
