Inflamación de la vaina del tendón

Síntomas:

  • Dificultad para mover una articulación
  • Dolor y sensibilidad alrededor de la articulación especialmente muñeca, tobillo, pie y mano
  • Dolor al mover una articulación
  • Inflamación articular en el área afectada

La fiebre, la inflamación y el enrojecimiento pueden indicar la presencia de una infección, especialmente si estos síntomas fueron causados por una punción o laceración.

Signos y exámenes:

El examen físico muestra inflamación sobre el tendón involucrado. El médico puede tocar o estirar el tendón o hacer que la persona mueva el músculo al cual éste está unido para observar si se presenta dolor.
