Acidosis metabólica - Treatment

Tratamiento:

El tratamiento está orientado a la condición subyacente. En ciertas circunstancias, se puede administrar bicarbonato de sodio (soda para hornear) para mejorar la acidez de la sangre.

Pronóstico:

El pronóstico dependerá de la enfermedad subyacente causante de la acidosis metabólica.

Posibles complicaciones:

Cuando la acidosis metabólica es muy grave puede llevar a que se presente shock o la muerte.
